During Christmas, I was into a moderate amount of processed food. That lasted till early/mid January, when I realized I was gaining weight and losing mass.
Then in February, I started with calisthenics progressions. At first progress was slow and I was losing gains due to cardio. Don't get me wrong, HIIT training slayed for looking shredded, but despite that routine only torching 80 calories in 20 minutes, my arms were shrinking after every session.
I quit the cardio in my last workout, and here's the routine now:
Pull-ups 5x5
Dips 5x5
Squats 5x5
Push ups 5x5
I did lose some gains by changing my diet last month, but here's where I'm at after some more recent changes:
If you compare size gains to the initial video I posted around November/December, you'll notice there's overall mass increases, and I've managed to stay shredded. Notably my chest has grown.
I might make a post about my diet, but it's nothing spectacular. It's about what you'd expect from a mass gaining diet that's light to moderate.
Good results, one day at a time. I'd say progressions and quitting cardio have had the most major impact...I'll post again in a few weeks if I see more progress or if I get beyond this point!
