I've been lifting weights for a number of months, but the exercise is not meeting some of my needs. The problem is that it dehydrates me for a number of days, and so I'm trying calisthenics (or bodyweight training) to get more of an aesthetic look without the bloating. With calisthenics you build a bit less mass, but I've seen guys online that get good results from this type of exercise. Some of them are really muscular and lean.

Here's my routine -
Workout 1
Squats 5x5
Pushups 5x5
Tablet pullups 5x5
Workout 2
Squats 5x5
Dips 5x5
Lunges 5x5
I think the lunges are a bit of a surplus as I'm using it to replace the deadlift. I don't necessarily need to add it, but I was searching for other leg workouts that weren't a squat variation and this is what I went with. Although there is the split squat that has a similar type of movement and hits the lower body differently than an air squat, so I might try that in the end.
There might be a bit of a downgrade in results initially. I'm going with a much simpler route you might say, and perhaps it's for the best.
